Oak Harbor seeks sponsors for streetscape project
The Oak Harbor Downtown Implementation Committee is seeking sponsorships and donations to improve the look of the downtown streetscape.

The group, which consists of business owners and residents, researched and made recommendations to village council for a downtown revitalization plan, which was approved in March, according to Valerie Winterfield, director of the Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce.

The purpose of the plan is to bolster the existing economic base and identify opportunities that will attract and accommodate future investment. The first focus is to improving the streetscape. That includes purchasing new benches, flowerpots, and trash cans. The committee is seeking sponsors to help defray the costs. As a sponsor, your name would be displayed on the item(s) with a plaque to recognize your sponsorship and commitment to the community.

For more information, call 419-898-0479 or email Winterfield at chamber @oakharborohio.net
