Eagle Scout honors
Adam Mihalko will be receiving his Eagle Scout Award at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor Sunday, Aug. 7 at 4 p.m. at St John's United Church of Christ in Genoa.

Adam, a member of Troop 131, of St Luke's in Curtice under the leadership of Scoutmaster is John Moore, has been a scout since first grade.

His Eagle Scout project included landscaping the outdoor sign at St John’s and repairing the 200 feet of flagstone border around the church. He raised more than $1,800 for the project, which involved more than 175 hours of work.

A 2011 graduate of Clay High school, Adam will attend Owens Community  College this fall.
