It makes me sick on any given day to see these people charged with drinking and driving and receive no more than a slap on the wrist. Look at all those suspended sentences out there...yes, you were caught drinking and driving, but your are not really going to be in trouble. The court will sentence you to 180 days in jail, but you won't have to actually spend any time there. Hope those 6 days in DWI Treatment programs curb the repeat drunk driving offenses OH WAIT one of the offenders is already a repeat drunk driver!! It's time for judges to wake up and stop treating these people with kid gloves, if you drink and drive there should be a punishment! Not just the threat of one.
