The Clay High School class of 1988 will hold a 20th reunion Oct. 10 and 11.

Classmates are invited to meet at 6:30 p.m. before the football game vs. Scott High School, which is also alumni band night. Bleachers will be reserved for members of the class in the end zone section. Tickets for the game are available at the gate. Catch up after the game at a gathering at 1010 Bury Rd.

 On Saturday morning, alumni and spouses are invited to a golf outing from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Eagle’s Landing in Oregon. The cost is $38, which includes a cart. To reserve a spot, call Mandy Miller-Judy at 419-693-0512. If 16 golfers are not registered by Oct. 9, the event will be canceled.

A picnic lunch will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at Southshore Park, corner of Bayshore and Stadium Road. Families and children are invited. Hot dogs will be provided. Bring a dish to share and your own beverages, along with balls, bats, mitts, Frisbees, etc.

At 4 p.m., a tour of the renovated Clay High School will be offered. Those attending should meet at the new front entrance facing Seaman.

A reunion gathering will be held from 5:30 to 11:30 at Oak Shade Grove, 3624 Seaman Rd. The cost is $40 per person, which includes dinner, an open bar and dancing.

Genoa reunion
The Genoa High School Class of 1978 Reunion is being planned for Sept. 27. Organizers are still looking for many classmates.

Groove in the Grove
Clay High Alumni & Friends Association will present the 11th annual Groove in the Grove and Hall of Fame Induction Sept. 27 from 6 p.m. to midnight at Oak Shade Grove in Oregon.

Dinner will be served from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Hall of Fame Induction will be held at 7:45 p.m. in the pavilion. The evening’s events will also include dancing in the cheesehouse and cards, games and TV in the pavilion.

The cost is $20, (dinner, drinks and dancing), $15 (drinks and dancing) and $10 (drinks and dancing after 10 p.m.).
