Winners of the cake contest sponsored by the Elmore Historical Society in conjunction with the Portage River Festival held June 27 include:

Non frosted - Winnie Chasteen. first place, Orange Juice Cake.

Frosted - Sandy Crawfoot, first place, German Chocolate Cake; Rhonda Bibler, second place, Tropical Carrot Cake; Aaron Haar, third place, Cookies and Cream Cake.

Fruit - Winnie Chasteen, first place, Guilt-Free Black Forest Cake; Daryl Ann Gibson, second place, Topsy Turvey Cantaloupe Cake.

Kids’ cakes: Cole Cutchall, first place, Apple Cake; Rylie Cutchall, second place, Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
