The Three Hours
First St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Oregon (located behind Fire Station No. 2) will hold six one-half hour worship experiences on Good Friday, April 2.
The faithful may come at any time between noon and three, but to participate in one complete worship experience, it is encouraged that worship participants come at the half hour. The same prayers, readings, hymns, solos and mediations will take place at each worship experience. Pastor Beth Huener and organist Robert McMahon will be there the entire time.
Mother of Twins award
Gerry Wolf has been voted 2010 Port Clinton Mothers of Twins Club Mother of the Year.
Wolf, who has six children, has been married to Robert (Rod) Wolf for more than 51 years. She is a 10-year cancer survivor, is active in Relay for Life, Latte Ladies Red Hat club and travels to Florida to watch her grandchildren play baseball.
Wolf lives in Oak Harbor and owned her own beauty salon for many years before becoming a cook in the Benton-Carroll-Salem school district.

The Genoa Music Boosters have announced the winners of the Truckload of Groceries Raffle.
Grand prize winner Helen Meyer, of Millbury, donated the truckload of food to the Genoa Food Pantry. Other winners included Sandy Reitzel, of Genoa, second prize; Kandy Takas, of Millbury, third prize.
