Laurene Giesler, of Elmore, recently created at beautiful piece of artwork for the Ottawa Soil and Water Conservation District.

The district took that artwork one step further and commissioned the creation of cotton throws.

Money raised from the sale of the throws will go toward education programs and scholarships to various camps.

The throws are available for $50 at the district office, located at 240 W. Lake Street, Oak Harbor. Call 419-898-1595 or stop in to view the beautiful creation.
