Retired teachers to meet
Lucas County Retired Teachers will meet for a luncheon Sept. 26 at noon at the Sylvania Country Club, The speaker will be Gary Russell, director of STRS Member Services.

Attendees should bring donations of kitchen items for Family Outreach Community United Services  (FOCUS). Lunch choices include Kentucky hot brown open-face turkey, hot open-faced sliced beef with mashed potatoes, or the vegetarian option, eggplant parmesan with linguini and marinara sauce.

The cost is $16.80. Reservations are due by Sept. 20. Send lunch choice, along with a check payable to LCRTA to Robert Fetter, 7803 Shaftesbury Dr., Sylvania, OH 43560.
