Indicted
Anthony C. Blasetzky, of Oak Harbor, has been indicted by the Ottawa County Grand Jury on one count each of Possession of Cocaine and Trafficking in Cocaine, both felonies of the fifth degree, Prosecuting Attorney Mark Mulligan said.

Blasetzky, 30, was also charged with misdemeanor counts of Possession of Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia. According to reports of the Marblehead Police Department and the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Blasetzky was initially found in possession of marihuana and prescription drugs following a traffic stop in Marblehead Sept. 14.

Indictments were also returned against Steven W. Fannin II, 20, who is currently being held in the Ottawa County Detention Facility on one count of Failure to Appear, a felony of the fourth degree after he allegedly failed to attend a hearing on another indictment last month.

Blasetzky and Fannin are scheduled to make their initial appearances in the Ottawa County Court of Common Pleas on Nov. 15. Mulligan noted that an indictment is merely a formal charge in the Common Pleas Court and does not denote guilt or innocence.
