Northwood Mayor Mark A. Stoner will hold “A Moment with the Mayor” on Aug. 11 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Brentwood Park Shelter House, 320 Brentwood Drive so that residents have a chance to voice their concerns, offer suggestions on city matters, or just meet the mayor. Residents requesting a specific meeting time are asked to call city clerk Lynn Goertz, 419-693-9327 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Dog walk fundraiser The Woodmore Key Club will host a Walk for Life for dogs Aug. 14 at 9 a.m. at Ory Park on the bike trail.
The mile-long walk will raise funds for the Humane Society chapters in Sandusky and Ottawa counties.
The club will also hold a raffle and bake sale.
Registration forms are available at local businesses.
Theatre production Genoa Children’s Theatre will present “Krazy Kamp” Aug. 12-14 at 7:30 p.m. at the civic theatre, Main Street.
There will be a matinee performance at 2 p.m. on Aug. 15.

Schedules ready Genoa High School students may pay fees and pick up their schedules Aug. 11 and 12 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the middle school cafeteria.
The high school will hold freshman orientation Aug. 11 at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria.
The senior/parent meeting is scheduled for Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.
Open house at the high school will be held Aug. 24 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
