US Navy Seabee Greg Steinhurst, of Millbury, received the Seabee Combat Warfare Specialist Pin while deployed in Afghanistan with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5.

While on special assignment at a remote forward operating base, BUCN Steinhurst was wounded in action. He is the son of Mary Ann and Kurt Steinhurst.

Army Pvt. Justin E. Middaugh has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. The son of John Middaugh, of Millbury, he is a 2008 graduate of Toledo Christian High School.
