Army National Guard Spec. Dustin B. Peacock has been mobilized and activated at Fort Dix, N.J., in preparation for deployment to serve in support of either Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom.

Peacock is an automated logistical specialist with more than two years of military service. He is the son of Toney Peacock of Scottsboro, Ala., and Penny McAllister of Woodville, Ala. His wife, Mandy, is the daughter of Rick Thompson of Rossford, Ohio, and Diane Butler of Oregon, Ohio.

Army Pfc. Joseph L. Imm has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.

The son of Mindy Atherton, of Toledo, he s a 2009 graduate of Waite High School.
