Navy Seaman Allen J. Dorner, son of Lisa Happy of Maybee, Mich. and Kenneth Dorner of Curtice, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Dorner is a 2004 graduate of Genoa Area High School of Genoa, Ohio.
