Army National Guard Spec. Jerry L. Britt has completed the Warrior Transition Course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. The course teaches basic skills necessary for integration into the Army for all prior-service servicemembers to fully prepare them for Advanced Individual Training or on to their first assignment.

The son of Linda Kodak,, of Oak Harbor, the specialist is a 1990 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.

Army Pvt. Michael R. DeWitt has graduated from the Infantryman One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

The son of David DeWitt, of Weston, and Rosi Hartman, of Luckey, he is a 2008 graduate of Bowling Green High School.
