U.S Army Specialist Jonathan Daniel Hummel, son of Sylvia and Terry Keeler, of Walbridge, will be returning home from Iraq for two weeks April 30 through May 13. He joined the service in July of 2007, attended basic training at Fort Benning, GA, and was then based at Fort Wainwright, Alaska before his deployment to Iraq.

Hummel is a 2007 graduate of Lake High School, where he was a varsity football player and a varsity wrestler. He is engaged to Sarah JoAnna Stefan. They will be married March 6, 2010. 

Army Pvt. Yvonne J. Dewey has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

The niece of Janet Wilbur, of Oregon, she is a 2008 graduate of Clay High School.
