Knit ‘n Crochet Club Meets June 22, 2-4 p.m., Locke Branch Library, 703 Miami St. Open to adults. Bring current projects in for a check-up by teacher Martha Harp. More patterns available. For beginning to intermediate level. Free. Register by calling 419-259-5310.

Shawn Mlynek in recital June 26, 8 p.m., St Mark’s Lutheran Church, 611 Woodville Rd. Shawn’s  first Toledo performance since 2005 with a wide variety of repertoire ranging from the very old up to classic and well-loved musical theater. Tickets $10.

TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) welcomes new members who want to lose weight. The group meets Mondays 7-8 p.m. at the East Toledo Senior Center, 1001 White St. Weigh-ins from 6-6:45 p.m. Annual membership is $26.50. Weekly dues 50 cents. Call Judy at 419-691-8033 or come to a free meeting. Everyone welcome.

Block Watch 420-C, formerly 422-B, will resume meeting the first Monday of every month at 6 p.m. at Martin Luther Church, 602 Nevada.

Waite High School Renovation Informational Meeting June 14, 6 p.m., Waite cafeteria.

Block Watch 410-M (formerly 422-A) East Toledo/Raymer School area, meetings are held at the Memorial United Church of Christ, 301 Starr Ave. at Plymouth Street on the second Thursday of each month from 6-7 p.m., with the exception of the Annual Open House, which will be held from 1-4 p.m. June 19 at Burnett Park (Starr Park), corner of Greenwood Avenue and Spring Grove. Call 419-697-9975 to arrange for accommodations for those with disabilities or to arrange for coloring supplies for children attending with adults.

Block Watch 422 A – East Toledo will meet June 10, 6-7 p.m., Memorial United Church of Christ, 1301 Starr Ave. at Plymouth St. Neighbors in the East Broadway, Starr Avenue, the railroad tracks/Belt St,/Spring Grove, and Navarre Avenue, (Raymer Elementary, St. Thomas Aquinas Church neighborhood area) are invited to attend.  Info: 419-697-9975.
