Toledo
TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) welcomes new members who want to lose weight. The group meets Mondays 7-8 p.m. at the East Toledo Senior Center, 1001 White St. Weigh-ins from 6-6:45 p.m. Call Judy at 419-691-8033 or come to a free meeting. Everyone welcome.

Block Watch 410-M (formerly 422-A) East Toledo/Raymer School area, meetings are held at the Memorial United Church of Christ, 1301 Starr Ave. at Plymouth Street on the second Thursday of each month from 6-7 p.m. Call 419-697-9975 to arrange for accommodations for those with disabilities or to arrange for coloring supplies for children attending with adults.

Drop-in Reading Corner, Wednesday noon-2 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m.-noon, Locke Branch Library. Kids will have fun with library Volunteens, and get the reading edge for school this fall. Info: Mary Kinkus at 419-259-5310.

Free Jam Session Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m., VFW 3265, 5416 Summit St. Music, pool, shuffle board. Refreshments available.
