Maintenance Work Days, Aug. 14, 1-4 p.m., Recycling Area, Pearson Maintenance Shop Area, 4600 Starr Ave. Join the Metroparks maintenance crew in the care and preservation of the Metroparks. Projects include trail work, gardening, painting, stewardship, landscaping and general clean up projects. Work gloves, a reusable drinking bottle and sturdy shoes or boots are recommended.
