Jerusalem Township Food Pantry is the second Wednesday of every month from 9 to 11 a.m. at the township hall, 9501 Jerusalem Rd.

Harris-Elmore Public Library Adult Book Discussion Group meets the fourth Thursday of the month at 10:30 a.m. On Jan. 28, the group will discuss “March” by Geraldine Brooks. Copies of the book are available at the library.

Texas Hold `Em Tournament Jan. 30, Harris-Elmore Fire Station. Registration at 6 p.m.; tournament at 7 p.m. Sixty-percent payout based on entries. Drinks and hot dogs provided.
