ABLE Mobile Benefit Bank Tuesdays 6-8 p.m. beginning Nov. 13, Birmingham Branch Library. Benefit bank staff can assist with applying for food stamps, home energy and child care assistance, and many other services. Free legal assistance is also available for problems such as bankruptcy, consumer debt, domestic violence, divorce, and foreclosure prevention. Services are free and available to all.

Ohio State/Michigan Chili Cook-Off/Tailgate Party Nov. 16, 7-11 p.m., St. Thomas Aquinas Gym, corner of White and Idaho. Admission includes chili, hot dogs, chips, cheese tray, snacks and more. Entertainment, raffles Big Six/Horserace and more. Bring OSU/Michigan decoration for the Best Dressed Table Contest. Chili registration at 6 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Adults only. Wine Tasting Dinner & Silent Auction Nov. 16, 6:30-9 p.m., St. George Cathedral Hall, 3754 Woodley Rd. Participants can taste an assortment of wines, foods & desserts. Cost is $50 per couple. Block Watch Meetings for East Toledo Raymer Elementary area, 410-M (and temporarily also 410-P), are held the 2nd Thursday of each month, at 6 p.m. except Dec. and Jan. or in weather below 20 degrees.
