Alternative energy forum With cooler temperatures approaching, many homeowners, businesses and organizations are looking for alternative energy sources to help reduce expenses.
The next monthly Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum will welcome Dan Klear, of Superior Energy Solutions, to present “Energy Conservation and Alternatives,” Sept. 15 from 7:30 to 9 a.m.
The program begins at 8 a.m. with informal networking hosted by the Center for Innovative Food Technology (CIFT) at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation, 13737 Middleton Pike (SR 582) in Bowling Green.
The presentation will address the variety of reasons behind the current and long-term interest in alternative energy, as well as alternative energy choices that are available for commercial and residential applications.
The cost is $10 per person (cash or check at the door), which includes breakfast and informal networking opportunities. Walk-ins are welcome, but guests are encouraged to reserve a seat in advance by emailing

The Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum offers educational networking opportunities and information on current issues, trends and programs the third Thursday of every month. Farmers, agribusiness owners and supporters of Ohio’s agricultural economy are encouraged to attend.
