Reverse raffle set The Ottawa County Agricultural Society is holding a reverse raffle dinner Nov. 20 at the county fairgrounds on SR 163 in Oak Harbor. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner starting at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $100 and include two buffet dinners by Ole Zim’s. The reverse raffle will include more than $12,000 in prizes with a grand prize of $7,500. The Ottawa County Agricultural Society, a non profit 501-3C organization, will use the proceeds for electrical improvements at the Fairgrounds.

Workgroup meeting The Lucas Soil & Water Conservation District will conduct a Local Working Group meeting to identify resource concerns, discuss conservation priorities and develop potential solutions Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Waterville Library, 800 Michigan Ave., Waterville.
While Local Work Group membership is limited to federal, state, county, tribal or local government representatives who are familiar with agriculture and natural resources interests, the meeting is open to members of the community, who are invited to participate and provide input on local conservation issues and resource challenges.
The Local Working Group supports locally led conservation efforts by coordinating USDA programs with other conservation programs in an effort to provide an integrated solution to addressing local natural resource concerns.
