Deadline nearing
The Oct. 2 deadline is approaching for the Ottawa Soil and Water Conservation District’s fish sale.

Fish are supplied by Fender’s Fish Hatchery, Baltic, Ohio. Fish available include bluegill, channel catfish, fathead minnows, largemouth bass, redear sunfish and white amur. The tank truck will distribute orders Oct. 8.

All fish must be pre-ordered and pre-paid. To obtain an order form, call 419-898-1595 or visit the office at 240 W. Lake St., Oak Harbor.

Autumn gardening workshop
The 577 Foundation, located at 577 East Front St. in Perrysburg, will be holding an Autumn Gardening Workshop Oct. 4, 2-4 p.m.

Come to class prepared to go outside and take home some bulbs. The workshop, which is open to the public, will be led by 577 Foundation horticulturalist Vicki Gallagher.
