Ag-Business Breakfast Forum
Seth Teter, editor of “Our Ohio” magazine and assistant editor of “Buckeye Farm News” will be the featured speaker at the monthly Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum Nov. 15 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation, 13737 Middleton Pike (SR 582), Bowling Green.
The program will begin at 8 a.m. with informal networking hosted by the Center for Innovative Food Technology.
Teter’s presentation on the role of local agriculture in building community will include information gained from seven years spent profiling and interviewing farmers throughout Ohio. Some of his topics include the history of the farm cooperative movement in Ohio, the diversity of Ohio agriculture, finding mutuality between farmers and consumers, opportunities for beginning farmers and the role of local agriculture in building community.
The cost is $10, payable by cash or check at the door, which includes breakfast and networking opportunities. Walk-ins are welcome; however advance registration is encouraged by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Ag-Business Breakfast Forum, held monthly on the third Thursday, provides information on current issues, trends and programs of interest to farmers, agribusiness owners and supporters of Ohio’s agricultural economy.
