Annexation hearing set for July 14

The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners has scheduled a meeting for July 14 to discuss a petition to annex 2,394 acres in Salem Township to the Village of Oak Harbor.
 
The meeting will start at 10:30 a.m. at the commissioners’ assembly room, 315 Madison Street, Port Clinton.


Road closing
The bridge on Benton-Carroll Road over Toussaint Creek between Toussaint East Road and Duff-Washa Road in Ottawa County will be out of service starting July 18.
 
No traffic will be permitted through the area. The bridge is expected to be reopened Sept. 30.


Board meeting  
The Ottawa County Board of Developmental Disabilities monthly meeting is set for July 18 at 5 p.m. at 235 N Toussaint South Rd, Oak Harbor. Meetings are open to the public. For information about Committee meetings – call 419-898-0400

Special meeting
A special meeting of the Benton-Carroll-Salem Board of Education is scheduled for July 12 at 7:30 a.m. in the board office, 11685 W. State Route 163, Oak Harbor.
