The Wood County Park District will be recycling cut Christmas trees Dec. 26 through Jan. 8.
Trees may be dropped off in Bowling Green at the Park District Headquarters; in Pemberville at William Henry Harrison Park; and in Perrysburg at W.W. Knight Nature Preserve.

Credit cards accepted The Wood County Juvenile Court is now accepting credit card payments for certain fees and costs, Wood County Juvenile Court Judge David Woessner said.
Individuals may pay court costs, fines, restitution and other court-required fees by credit card at the court front desk. MasterCard, Discover and American Express will be accepted.
In addition, payments may be made 24 hours a day, seven days a week by visiting juvenile court’s Web site at www.co.wood.oh.us/juvenilecourt and following the links provided. Payments are managed through Point and Pay Systems, which assesses a small convenience fee. The court receives no money from the fee.
Judge Woessner, who is also the Wood County Probate Judge, said he also expects the probate court to begin accepting credit card payments on site for marriage license fees.
Women’s Connection All area women are invited to attend the “Stretching Your Dollars” luncheon and program sponsored by the Toledo East Women’s Connection Jan. 14 at the Bayside Boardwalk, 2759 Seaman St., Oregon.
Doors will open at 11:45 a.m. for the noon luncheon and program. Patrice Powers-Barker, from the Ohio State Extension in Lucas County will discuss how to stretch food dollars; Deanna Dickinson, of Curtice, will provide vocal music entertainment; and Edy Pocse, of Oregon, will share about, “Finding Contentment through Life’s Challenges.”

Computer classes set The Harris-Elmore Public Library and its branch in Genoa will hold free monthly computer classes for the community in 2010.
Classes will be offered at 11 a.m. Jan. 13, Feb. 10, March 10, April 7 and May 5 in Elmore; and Jan. 14, Feb. 11, March 11, April 8 and May 6 in Genoa.
Classes, which will be about an hour and a half long, will cover computer basics, online searching, using the library catalog, word processing and creating resumes.
