Lake Twp. – A Toledo man faces several charges after attempting to elude police on State Route 795 at speeds of more than 100 MPH.

According to police, Eric T. Royer, 35, Toledo, was charged Feb. 16 with failure to comply with a police order, speeding, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license, and driving without insurance, after he sped past a radar unit on Route 795 about 11 p.m.

Police said he was westbound on the route before turning south onto Tracy Road and was clocked at 102 MPH. He stopped the vehicle near the corner of Tracy and Latcha roads.

Lawrence J. Buck, Jr., 34, Walbridge, the vehicle owner was a passenger. He was charged with wrongful entrustment of a vehicle.
