Trooper Henn lauded
Ohio Highway Patrol Trooper Nathan L. Henn has been selected as the 2010 Fremont Post Trooper of the Year and the 2010 Bucyrus District Trooper of the Year.

Trooper Henn is among 10 in the running for State Trooper of the Year.

This is the fifth year Trooper Henn has been recognized for his outstanding services at the Fremont Post. Fellow officers stationed at the post chose him for the award based on his leadership abilities, professional ethics and courteous treatment of others, as well as his enthusiastic work attitude, willingness to cooperate with supervisors and peers and exemplary service to the public.

Trooper Henn, a graduate of Oak Harbor High School, joined the U.S. Marine Corps after high school. He was assigned to the Marine Corps Security Force Company, Kings Bay, Ga., and the 1st Battalion 5th Marine Regiment Infantry.

He graduated from the Ohio Highway Patrol Academy in April 2002 and was assigned to serve at the Fremont Post. He currently resides in Woodville with his wife  Hollie and daughters Lilian and Ayla Elaine.

Trooper Henn is actively involved in area programs to prevent impaired driving, reduce fatal and injury crashes and to deter criminal behavior on roadways.
