Curtice resident Kristen Dominique recently participated in the 2009 Cleveland Breast Cancer 3-Day to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Dominique joined over 900 walkers July 31-Aug. 2, walking 60 miles in three days around the western suburbs of the Cleveland area. She was invited to participate in the opening and closing ceremonies for the event by carrying the “My Sister” honor flag in celebration of her sister, a three-year breast cancer survivor.

Dominique successfully raised over $2,800 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.
