Navy Seaman Recruit Brian P. Carter, son of Sonya Pierson of Oak Harbor, Ohio and Brian Carter, of Marblehead, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

He is a 2010 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.
