Woodville 4th of July Celebration canceled
The Woodville 4th of July Celebration Committee announced that the 78th Woodville 4th of July Celebration, planned for July 2-4, will not be held due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Orchard Villa, of Legacy Health Services, hosted a parade in tandem with National Superhero Day to honor its staff who work to keep residents safe during the Coronavirus. Family members of staff and residents honked horns and held signs in a show of support.

Walbridge mayor Ed Kolanko last week said he’s reluctantly decided to not open the municipal swimming pool this summer due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.
Traditionally, the pool opens on Memorial Day and remains open until the Labor Day holiday.
