Joan S. Samsen, 89, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away at home on the morning of Wednesday, January 4, 2023. She was born in Goshen, NY on May 25, 1933, the daughter of Evert and Ellen (Mainey) Suydam. Joan married Robert “Bob” Samsen on October 3, 1953 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Genoa.

Frederick W. Diebert, 89, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023. He was born to Arthur and Almeta (Hagemeyer) Diebert, one of eight children, on January 31, 1933, in Toledo, Ohio. He was a graduate of Waite High School, in Toledo and a veteran of the Korean War.

Donald Charles Bench Sr, 80 of Elmore, OH died peacefully on January 1, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg after a short battle with cancer. He was born March 28, 1942 in Toledo, OH at Women’s and Children’s Hospital to the late Margaret (Turnow) and Charles Bench.

Mark Denver Wolfe, 61, of South Vienna, OH passed away on December 25, 2022, at his residence. He was born on June 15, 1961, to the late James Hockenberry Sr. and Mae Ruth (Thomas).

Mark loved the outdoors including football, fishing, golfing, and riding his Harley.
