Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Ohio is celebrating its Eighth Annual Golf Event at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green September 12.
Over the past seven years, The Arby’s Charity Tour has raised more than $350,000 to generate awareness and funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Ohio. Now, in its eighth year, Stone Ridge Golf Club and the Wood County Prosecutor’s office has united with Big Brothers Big Sisters to continue this fundraiser.
Hosted by Tony Czerniakowski, Director of Golf and Sales of Stone Ridge, the Big Brothers Big Sisters Annual Golf Event consists of a round of golf followed by a reception, auction and special presentations. Registration begins at 10 a.m. with tee-off starting at 11 a.m.
“We’ve always felt it was important to make a difference in the communities by getting involved with our local charities, Czerniakowski said.
Wood County Prosecutor Paul Dobson stated, “There is nothing more rewarding than providing hands-on support to agencies that support our kids.”
Barbie J. Harrison, President/CEO, stated, “We are excited about the partnership between the Wood County Prosecutor’s office and Stone Ridge Golf Club and the awareness this brings to our agency.”
The Big Brothers Big Sisters Annual Golf Event is comprised of local golfers that have supported the agency’s fundraiser since its inception in 2003. This year, golfers and other supporters will gather from all of Northwestern Ohio to help raise awareness and funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Ohio.
