Cardinal Stritch High School senior Corey Linser signed his National Letter of Intent March 9, 2011 to play golf for Lourdes College. Linser is the first men's golfer of the incoming 2011 class to sign with Lourdes head coach Scott Simon. "I chose Lourdes because of the new golf team," Linser said. Linser was a captain on the Cardinal Stritch golf team. He was named honorable mention All-Toledo Area Athletic Conference his junior year and second team All-TAAC his senior year. "Corey is passionate and dedicated on improving his game while maintaining strong leadership qualities,” Cardinal Stritch coach Jeff Hess states, "He will be a valuable addition to the Gray Wolves." Linser plans to pursue a double major at Lourdes College and study both Criminal Justice and Psychology.
