Cleveland Browns present $20K for Lake athletic facilities
The Cleveland Browns along with a matching grant from the National Football League have made a donation of $20,000 to the Lake Local School District for the reconstruction of its athletic football facilities destroyed by an EF-4 Tornado on June 5, 2010.

A check presentation ceremony was conducted during halftime of the Lake varsity boys’ basketball game versus Elmwood Thursday at the Student Health and Activities Center on the campus of Owens Community College. Making the presentation was Matt Yunker, Community Relations Coordinator for the Cleveland Browns.

 • Donations in equipment from Browns players.

Lake Schools stated in a press release it “wishes to thank the Cleveland Browns and the NFL for their overwhelming generosity shown towards the kids and school as we rebuild our facilities.”
