Fifth Third Field has set a new record with its 12th straight sell-out on Monday, August 11, 2008. The 11th tied a Fifth Third Field record which was set in the final 10 games of the 2002 season through Opening Day 2003. The park has also sold out 23 of the last 26 home games.

The record setting crowd of 8,973 was also part of another Fifth Third Field milestone. The sell-out crowd pushed this year’s attendance over the 500,000 plateau, a mark now officially reached in each year since the ballpark’s inaugural season in 2002.
