The 2009 10U Ohio Diamond Hawks have earned an entry into the July 2009 Disney Elite 32 World Series in Orlando, Florida. The Diamond Hawks team consists of 12 players from Oregon, Toledo, Genoa, and elsewhere. The Hawks are 29-2 on the season, Dusty Gloves Tournament Champion, Glass City Classic Tournament Champion, earned an NWOABL record of 11-0, Nations Baseball State Qualifier Semifinalist, and USSSA Super NIT Tournament Champions. They have outscored opponents 408-52 and are ranked by the USSSA first in Ohio, third regionally (six states), and 15th nationally by Travel Baseball Select. Players are Evan Brown, Chad Newell, Christian Orr, Justin McGill, Landon McGill, Mason Hecklinger, Zach Buescher, Joshua Winckowski, Tanner Glass, Lane Good, Jacob Rettig, and Dylan Dohanos. Head coach is Gary Orr, assistants are Mark Hecklinger, Steve Glass, Greg Buescher, and Manager Romie Brown.
