The Toledo Mud Hens are pleased to announce that the crowd on Thursday, April 16, 2009 established a new single-game record for attendance.

A total of 13,100 fans enjoyed the home opener, surpassing the 12,750 number from the 2008 Opening Day. The sell-out was the 212th at Fifth Third Field. Fifth Third Field sold out a record 36 times in 2008.

Coming into the 2009 season, over four million fans have been through the turnstiles through its first seven years of operation.
