The Genoa wrestling coaches will be sponsoring the Fifth Annual Buckeye All-American Wrestling Camp June 8-10 at the Genoa Athletic Complex. This year’s counselors include veteran instructors and Ohio State All-Americans J.D. Bergman (Oak Harbor) and John Clark.

Bergman is a three-time All-American and placed second at the 2008 NCAA Championships as a heavyweight after moving up from 197 pounds. Bergman is currently an assistant wrestling coach for Ohio State University and is also pursuing a spot on the 2012 Olympic team.

John Clark is a two-time All-American and current Brown University assistant coach. Clark has also had coaching stints at Stanford and Lehigh University.

The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with each day consisting of a mix of instruction, review, drills, and live wrestling. Youth wrestlers will be separated from middle school and high school wrestlers. Each camp attendee will receive a packet and a free t-shirt if registered by the early registration date of May 23. The form for the tournament can be found at:
