The Wood County women's basketball team ended its season with a loss at the Area IV tournament against Sandusky County. Walbridge resident Brittany Cortez was a member of the team. This spring athletes will train in track, volleyball, bocce, and cycling. Wood County's Special Olympics program reaches over 400 athletes who train and compete in 11 sports throughout the year.
