On Nov. 9, a contingent of Bowling Green State University students rolled up their sleeves and got busy painting the entire inside of the four-story Family House (Toledo Community Service Center).
The 230 students from 30 different departments, led by the Chapman Learning Community, painted the reception and dining room areas, hallways, case manager’s office and a huge multi-purpose room, according to Renee Palacios, Family House executive director.
“It is both humbling and amazing to see the kind of dedication these students have for those less fortunate,” Palacios said. “It is awesome to see so many young people getting involved to help.
