Just ask Doris Langel, of East Toledo.

The 77-year-old was recently honored by the Toledo Roadrunners Club as the “Coming Back Runner of the Year” for 2008.

Two thirds of Americans blindsided by drug costs

YONKERS, NY — Sticker shock is taking a toll on Americans when they fill their prescriptions: 66 percent of those polled by Consumer Reports said they found out the cost of a drug when they picked it up at the pharmacy counter, while just 4 percent said they had a conversation with their doctor about the cost of a drug.

 
State seeking stories, advice from the Great Depression

COLUMBUS - The Ohio Department of Aging is soliciting stories from Ohioans who lived through the Great Depression of the 1930s so that the sacrifices they made and the lessons they learned may be shared with other generations currently facing tough economic times.
