They’re Foxy Ladies with Hattitudes.

The Red Hat Society group, which boasts 16 members from Ohio and Michigan, enjoyed a special tea June 17 at Tea at BayView, located adjacent to BayView Bed & Breakfast, 7250 Cedar Point Rd., in Oregon.

In celebration of “wedding month,” the dress for the occasion was bridal and bridesmaid attire, and to prepare for the outing, the women rummaged through their closets and hope chests, and visited local thrift shops. Some also chose gowns from BayView’s extensive dress and gown collection, kept on hand for those who want to dress up for tea parties.

For more information about Teas at BayView, call Dee Davies at 419-836-1847. For more information about the Red Hat Society – groups of women from all walks of life who like to have fun after 50, visit www.redhatsociety.com.

Among the members of the Foxy Ladies with Hattitudes who attended the special June outing at Tea at BayView in Oregon were (front) Kathleen Fretter; (center row) Karen Wareen, Veronika Trznadel, Karen Shelt, “Queen” Carol Momberg and Louann Weidinger; and (back row) Jackie Jones, Eileen Tishler, Sharon Heath, Pat Grabarczyk and DeeDee Guss.
