The American Association of University Women, Bowling Green Women’s Club and The Wood County Committee on Aging, Inc. are once again collaborating to present “Great Decisions” – an informative educational discussion that will meet for six consecutive weeks, Saturdays Jan. 19 through Feb. 23.
The groups will meet from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Wood County Senior Center, 305 N. Main St., Bowling Green. Breakfast will be made available from 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with advance registration and a donation of $2 for those 60 and over and $5 for all others. Menus are available upon request.
During the sessions, Bowling Green State University professors will enlighten participants with up-to-date information on worldly topic, and will take questions following each discussion.
Registration is required due to limited seating. The schedule includes:
Jan. 19 – “Myanmar and Southeast Asia,” presented by Dr. Dr. Neil Englehart.
Jan. 26 – “The Future of the Euro,” presented by Dr. Candice Archer.
Feb. 2 – “Intervention,” by Dr. Marc Simon.
Feb. 9 – “Iran,” presented by Dr. Mohammad Dadfar.
Feb. 16 – TBA.
Feb. 23 – “China in Africa,” presented by Martin Slavens.
