Dorothy Gackstetter aimed for the gold in the Ohio Senior Olympics held in July at Case Western University.
When the competitions were done, the 80-year-old Martin woman brought home gold in all six of her events – shot put, discus, javelin, long jump, 100 meter and 200 meter.
Her accomplishments qualified her for the Summer National Senior Games, which will be held at Case Western in 2013.
“With God’s blessing, I hope to achieve these goals,” Gackstetter said.
Dorothy Gackstetter, 80, of Martin, earned six gold medals in the recent State Senior Olympic Games.
