Family Center remains a foundation in East Toledo

As I reflect on past years, I am so grateful for all that the Family Center has been able to accomplish, considering the economic decline that has and continues to occur locally and all across this country.

Now more than ever, our neighborhood needs a strong community center. We have had to make tough decisions to ensure that the East Toledo Family Center continues to be a foundation in the East Toledo community for our children, families and senior citizens.

With strategic planning and annual goals, I am excited about the possibilities and opportunities the Center will be taking.

Our focus in the following four areas – financial stability, quality and excellence, workforce development and community engagement, will allow the ETFC to continue to flourish and succeed.

Lastly, I want to commend all of our staff members for making the Family Center what it is today. We have a remarkable group of individuals who give it their all each and every day. We are truly like a family here, and I believe that is the key to our success.

I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our volunteers and members who help the Center build stronger families, encourage our young people to become future leaders and offer support for senior citizens.

It has been my honor and privilege to serve as Executive Director for the past seven years and I will continue to work with the Board of Trustees for the betterment of East Toledo.
