Terra Students Inducted into Local Chapter of National Honor Society
Thirty-seven Terra Community College students were inducted Oct. 28 into the Alpha Mu Epsilon chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, a national two-year college honor society.
Those honored included: Gibsonburg – Anthony Harrison and Victoria McDaniels Clyde – Brandan Leiter Sandusky – Amanda Shafer Helena – Rylie Halfhill Dr. Barbara Holdcroft, Assistant Professor in Psychology at Terra, spoke to the inductees about scholarship.
Phi Theta Kappa recognizes and encourages scholarship among associate degree students who are invited to membership on the basis of scholarly achievement, leadership, citizenship, character and faculty recommendation.
Nina Schyllander, Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Terra, serves as the chapter’s advisor while Barbara Jackson, Executive Assistant to the President, is the co-advisor.
