CedarCreek hosting National Marriage Conference
CedarCreek Church is one of 12 sites nationwide selected to host the Love & Respect Marriage Conference Oct. 19-20.

The conference will feature Emerson Eggerichs, author of best-selling book, “Love & Respect.” Eggerichs will appear live at CedarCreek’s Perrysburg Campus; his presentation will be simulcast to the church’s other campuses in South Toledo, West Toledo and Whitehouse locations.

Eggerich’s “Love & Respect” has sold more than 1.3 million copies and is widely recognized as the premier Biblically-based resource to strengthen marriage. With divorce rates hovering around 50 percent for Christians and non-Christians alike, Eggerich’s message centers around cracking the communication code between husbands and wives and breaking down the barriers that can destroy relationships.

Couples attending Love & Respect Conferences will discover techniques to help them break out of the “Crazy Cycle of Conflict,” and work toward the “Rewarded Cycle” of renewed passion and relational fulfillment. Eggerichs believes that the message of the Love & Respect Conference applies to not only married couples, but individuals who plan to marry or remarry in the future.

As an incentive to encourage attendance, CedarCreek is announcing the “Ultimate Get-Away Contest.”  Individuals registering for the conference will automatically be entered to win one of nine 5-day, 4-night cruises. Contest deadline will end on Monday, October 8 and the drawing will be held during October 13-14 weekend services. Results will be posted online at the website and individuals do not have to be present to win.

Over 1600 individuals are expected to attend this conference event and registration open to all individuals, whether married or single. The cost is $55 per individual for seating at Perrysburg Campus and $35 per person at all other campuses. There is limited childcare availability for Friday night only. Complete conference information and registration can be found at
