Hens to feature Oregon youth baseball, softball night
The Toledo Mud Hens returned home to the friendly confines of Fifth Third Field last Thursday, for a stretch of eight games at home over an 8 day period (Thursday-Thursday).
This will be the only opportunity for fans to see Rochester and Lehigh Valley from the IL North. Toledo squared off against the Rochester Red Wings (four games) and on Monday will begin with four games against the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs (four games all starting at 6:30 p.m.)
On Monday, May 5 – The Mud Hens will host the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs for the first, and only time on the year in this first game of a four-game series. The game will include Cinco de Mayo celebration, as the first 3,000 fans will receive a sombrero.
On Tuesday, May 6 – The High School Home Run Derby (Sandusky St. Mary’s) will take place. Game three is on Wednesday, May 7.
Thursday, May 8 – Pre-game festivities will include Oregon Youth Baseball and Softball Night and post-game will feature the High School Home Run Derby (Flat Rock).
