Bike Trail Blues
To the editor: First of all, why does the city of Oregon make a big deal about having a bike trail? They don’t take care of it.

People who go to garage sales park on them; lawn service trucks park on them; delivery trucks park on them. Go behind Clay High School stadium – there are always cars parked on them because the coaches are too lazy to walk 20 feet.

And now the grand finale…at Starr and Coy, they put the bike trail between two lanes of traffic. Wow – good planning. There is supposed to be a $250 fine for parking on a bike trail.
